ClinicMind is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Supervisor who will be responsible for handling government remittances, tax compliance, and employee compensation and benefits. 

 

1. BIR Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations and tax requirements.

  • Prepare and process:

    • Withholding tax computations

    • BIR Form 1601-C

    • BIR Form 2316

    • Other payroll-related tax filings

  • Monitor deadlines for tax payments and report submissions.

  • Coordinate with external accountants or auditors during BIR audits.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of Philippine tax laws and labor regulations.

  • Ensure payroll records and reports are audit-ready at all times.

 


 

2. Government Mandatory Contributions

  • Ensure timely and accurate remittance of:

    • SSS

    • PhilHealth

    • Pag-IBIG

  • Prepare reports and respond to government agency concerns.

  • Monitor employee loans, contributions, and statutory deductions.

 


 

3. Financial & Accounting Support

  • Handles accounts receivable and payables

  • Bank Reconciliation

  • Issuance of Statement of Account and Billing Invoice

  • Assist in monitoring company payroll expenses and labor costs.

  • Coordinate with Accounting regarding payroll journal entries and reconciliation.

  • Prepare payroll summaries and financial reports for management.

  • Monitor project-based payroll allocations 

  • Assist in budgeting and labor cost forecasting.

  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

 

4. Records Management & Confidentiality

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and financial records.

  • Organize and secure payroll files, tax documents, and employee compensation data.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.

 


 

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Recommend improvements in payroll systems and financial controls.

  • Ensure payroll processes comply with labor laws and company policies.

  • Assist in payroll audits and internal compliance reviews.

 

 

6. Qualifications


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

  2. 2–4 years of experience in payroll, BIR tax compliance, or compensation & benefits handling in the Philippines.

  3. Solid understanding of Philippine tax code, labor law, and government reporting requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE).

  4. Experience using accounting/payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sprout, GreatDay HR, or similar platforms).

  5. Proficient in MS Excel; able to create pivot tables, vlookups, and perform payroll reconciliations.

  6. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of confidentiality.

  7. Excellent communication and coordination skills when dealing with internal departments and government agencies.

  8. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
